123 Memorial Drive: Remediation Results

The groundwater remediation system was operated for approximately 90 days and then was shut down for groundwater sampling. Two consecutive sampling events occurred with each event separated by minimum of 30 days. After the sampling events, no contaminants were found to remain above applicable Georgia water quality standards.

In addition to the groundwater cleanup, the remaining soil around the former underground storage tanks was found to be below Georgia soil thresholds for petroleum constituents. Final Site Closure documents are currently under regulatory review for “No Further Action” status by Georgia Environmental Protection Division.
